cleaning, cooking & my princess

Didn't do much this weekend, in fact, I think all I did was cook, clean, eat, sleep and watch My Princess. Other than going to Kingdom hall yesterday, the weekend was pretty much a dead one.
Wore my Peter Pan collar dress yesterday, and I have so much regret wearing it T.T It was so hot to the point where I didn't want to move at all, and I spent 3 hours in the sun walking from door to door in heels.. I can't even-- T.T My feet were so swollen and my back was so wet omg. ;~; But despite it being so hot to the point you melt, Summer is still my favorite season. There's something about the heat that makes one tired and lazy, and since I'm already naturally lazy and I sleep for more than 8 hours, when it's so hot my laziness is doubled which equals more sleep. Err, lol. So, yay for lazy weather!

Anyways, been watching My Princess for the past few days. But yeah, I'm hooked for now, hopefully I won't get bored towards the end.

Aaaaaaaand 4 more weeks till Philippines! Noob is there atm, that might explain why life has been boring recently. Lol.

fujifilm 7s review

Last week (or was it the week before?) I went to the city and decided to buy a Polaroid camera JUST BECAUSE Park Shin Hye (박신혜) had a Polaroid in her drama "You're Beautiful". The moment she snapped a picture of Jung Yong Hwa (정용화) I was like "OMG I NEED ONE IN MY LIFE". And so, this is how the story goes. I bought one. A little bit pricey-er than the ones being sold on ebay, but I got a free packet of film! So yeah. :D

Sadly (or happily?) I've given the camera to Noob, so I don't have any pictures of it and a 360 degree view, lol, so my review will just be a review with words and no pictures. Sorreeehh.

Firstly, it's a nice small sized Polaroid, not too heavy, not extremely light either. You have to turn it on by manually pulling out the lens and the rest is pretty much "point-and-shoot". At first I was like.. "Ergh, I have to turn it on manually??" BUT, pulling out and pushing in the lens can be quite fun. I don't mind it at all now :D

I love the quality of the pictures and I just find it amazing how the picture comes out after a few minutes! IT'S SO COOL! It's like taking purikura! But cheaper! One SAD SAD SAD thing is, film comes in a pack of 10, and depending on the person, it can be quite pricey. I find it expensive. $12 a pack. T_T

Here's 2 pictures taken with the 7s:

I originally wanted pink, BUT T_T there was none. In another other shop, however, they were selling a white and pink version (fuchsia pink-- not really a fan of that colour, though) but it was WAAAAAY too over priced, there was also a cute pink FujiFilm 25, but that was even more over priced T___T, so I got white.

As I said earlier, I have given my 7s to Noob. Simply because, when I got home the next day from work, I re-watched the scene with Go Mi Nam taking a picture of Jeremy.. and I then realized.. She had the FujiFilm 25 T___T I thought I had the right version >.> so much sadness. So, I decided to buy another one, this time from ebay, since it's much cheaper than city shops. Which resulted in me giving my 7s away. I'm currently waiting for my FujiFilm 25 Pink Heart edition to be delivered! So excitedddd! ToT

All in all, the 7s is a wonderful little camera and I'd recommend anyone who's looking for a cheap, but high quality Polaroid camera to go and buy it! Go! GO GO GO GO!

hot sauna, ah hot hot saunaaa

Can't believe how cute the new Mount Franklin Sparkling water bottles are! Wish they could come out with cute designs like this more often. :) It makes drinking water a more pleasurable experience-- err lol.

Speaking of water! Went to Stanhope Leisure Centre yesterday with Jen and Noob to try out the Steam room and Sauna. AND OMG, THE $10.10c WE PAID WAS WORTH IT!

Was the most relaxing thing ever. I've been to saunas already before, a few times at a friends apartment and once at Olymic Park Aquatic Centre, but.. the experience at the Aquatic Centre wasn't so relaxing. The Sauna smelt like so much sweat, I couldn't stand staying in there for more than 5 minutes. Didn't even attempt the steam room because I could already smell sweat when I opened the door. So, I had really low expectations for Stanhope. But, I was wrong! There was no stench, it smelt just like wood (exact same smell as the private sauna at the apartment) and there were cute Korean ladies there.

We first went to the steam room and were immediately welcomed by 23498304oC of happiness. I felt so relaxed, was sweating like a donkey, but all the stress I was holding in seemed to disappear. Sighh, was so good.

After 15 minutes of cooking in the steam room, Noob wanted to try out the Sauna, so we went. That, of course, was equally as relaxing in its own way. Stayed there for another 15 minutes. Was so cool, I became quite flexible from the heat, I WAS FLEXIBLE! But I'm back to my stiff self now, but I WAS ABLE TO BEND AND LAY MY HANDS FLAT ON THE GROUND WITHOUT BENDING MY KNEES! Hopefully over time I can do the splits :P

After the sauna, Noob and Jen chilled in the spa, and I just watched. By 9pm, we were out and ready to go home.

Was too sleepy and relaxed to stay up to watch Baby-faced Beauty. All I remember was closing my eyes to blink, then BOOM. K.O. I haven't had such a deep sleep in a long time. Ahh~

Hope we can go again! Needa lose those fats! ^o^
